In a letter to the shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett (95) takes another step back from the company he has led for over sixty years. He will now leave communication to the new CEO, Greg Abel, and will no longer lead the annual shareholders’ meeting, but:
“I will continue talking to you and my children about Berkshire via my annual Thanksgiving message.”
Behind the scenes, the stock market veteran will remain active at Berkshire Hathaway.
Warren Buffett (95) has donated 2.7 million Berkshire Hathaway B shares to four family foundations so that his three children—now in their seventies—can continue his philanthropic goals.
