An new milestone at Apple Tree, and an opportunity for us to support #TheRallyingCry, an important initiative fighting inequality – double celebration!
On 16 October Apple Tree Capital Partners reached a total of EUR 5 million Assets Under Management (AuM) for the first time since its inception on 1 February 2021. The trust and energy that our investors have given us to reach this milestone is something we are grateful for every single day. Thank you, dear investors!
This calls for a celebration. How? By doing what our investors did for us: putting our trust into people and initiatives that are also contributing to the Fund’s overall goal to provide more equal (financial) opportunities for everyone.
The trust and energy that our investors have given us to reach this milestone is something we are grateful for every single day.
A percentage of our revenues will be used to support the amazing initiative of #TheRallyingCry providing women a seat at the table, investing in women entrepreneurs and battling climate change, starting in Africa.
Does that make a difference? It sure does!
We are sponsoring Lelemba Phiri, a fund manager from Zambia to go to #COP27 in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt in November, to engage top policy makers about her investments in women climate entrepreneurs in Africa.
We need representation of women’s voices from the front lines of climate change. Lelemba is one of many unsung heroes that are actively contributing the solutions the world needs.
Apple Tree and The Rallying Cry are pleased to support her in taking her seat at the table.
Go, kick ass, Lelemba! We’re rooting for you!
The Rallying Cry is an ecosystem initiative designed to shift capital and narratives to drive inclusive private sector climate leadership and solutions.
