The investment year 2024

This year's S&P 500 performance is about average. 

But, in election years, historical data shows that the S&P 500 tends to perform very well during the months of June, July, and August.

And on the other hand, most investors anticipate an upside in volatility for the rest of the year (which would indicate more turbulent markets, not rising markets per se).

With retail Investors now being the most pessimistic about stocks since November.
